calling all lens flare readers/photographers...

Hello? Are you out there? As much as I'm enjoying writing this blog, I would love to make it more interactive for anyone out there actually reading it.

I would love to see some of your work, dear readers/photographers, and to share your photos with other readers/photographers. This is not to critique anyone or to put you on the spot, but rather to encourage one another to keep taking pictures!

So, send me your favorite shots of your family - children, pets, significant other, etc. Group shots or single shots. Old school or more recent. Send them to my email address - obviously if I receive them from you, you give me the right to post them on my blog, blah blah blah (sorry, that was the attorney in me). I will be posting pics throughout February. You can send any photo you like, and please tell me: (1) who is in the photo, (2) why you love it, or (3) why it doesn't work for you and if you'd like advice from the lens flare readers (even if it's just little old me).

But seriously - SERIOUSLY - I would love to see your photos. Anyone interested in becoming a better photographer should be looking at other photographer's work. I have learned so much in the 7 years since I picked up my first SLR camera simply by admiring the work of others.
