Thanks for the comments on the last set of photos - here's another set for your perusal.  

Before (with my own editing):


In the interest of full disclosure, I did a fair amount of editing to this one. I did not use flash, and I could have used some fill flash to soften the shadows on their faces.

After (using an effect overlay):

I like this effect - used with some restraint it adds a nice glow to the entire photo.

Thoughts? Opinions? Do you like the shadows in the first photo? Or do you prefer the overall warmth of the second one?
